Jon Lum Endeavors to Help Patients |
Since the early 1970s, Jon Lum has been an active member of the health care community. After earning an Associate of Science and certificate in respiratory therapy from Bay City College, he moved on to earn a Bachelor of Arts from Trevecca Nazarene University. Driven by a lifelong passion for continuous education, he received a certificate in surgical technology from the Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing in 2001.
After immigrating to the United States in 1955, Mr. Lum began his pursuit of the American dream. His journey has taken him to work all over the country, including Florida, Georgia, New York and Connecticut. Since 2004, he has been a physician assistant at Waterbury Hospital. In relation to his career, Pfizer has called upon his expertise, where he began consulting for the pharmaceutical company in 2003. Mr. Lum has also been a lead project designer for the World Trade Center Site Memorial. Mr. Lum is committed to providing his patients with the best possible care available. He maintains affiliation with the Society of Physician Assistants in Rheumatology, the Connecticut Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. His level of care has been recognized by inclusion to several Who’s Who publication, including in America, in Medicine and Healthcare and in the World. |
